The results you want, faster

If you’ve been in therapy before and felt you weren’t able to progress as quickly as you wanted, or like you spent most of your time catching up or checking in and didn’t have enough time in an hour to really get into the core of what brought you to therapy, an intensive may be the right option for you.

Therapy intensives start at 3 hours, and can extend beyond that depending on needs. These are great for people who want to really deep dive into the work. During an intensive, we will utilize a blend of modalities to help you reach your goals in a more concentrated therapeutic space. Intensives include a 90 minute intake session to clearly identify pain points and goals for the intensive, the intensive itself (3-6 hours), a 690 minute post-session to integrate the work, a range of assessments to help get a clear picture of current struggles, and a customized workbook to help streamline and organize your experience of the intensive.

Intensives with me are very tailored to your specific goals and comfort level with experiential therapies. I believe that everyone deserves space where they feel fully comfortable to investigate themselves, their beliefs, their thoughts, and their experiences with compassion and curiosity. Whether you have a diagnosed mental health condition, or you are simply seeking support navigating life doing life things, I am happy to support you in that journey. I have a client-centered, eclectic approach, with training in CBT, DBT, IFS, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and many forms of experiential therapies, including music therapy, therapeutic art, psychodrama, sand tray therapy, and somatic-based therapy.

I view my role as a therapist as a guide- I am not an expert on anyone but myself, but I am skilled at walking alongside my clients as they uncover their own truths to align with their path in life. I bring warmth, unconditional positive regard, curiosity, and compassion to the therapy space, and am passionate about helping my clients feel empowered in their own lives. Several areas of specialization that I have are borderline personality disorder, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+, ethical non-monogamy, and kink. I also have extensive experience working with clients struggling with addictions, anxiety, and general life struggles/transitions. Intensives can take place virtually in the comfort of your own home, or in-person.

I offer several specific types of intensives, listed below. If you have an idea that isn’t listed, please reach out, I am always open to a conversation to see if we can collaborate to create the experience you are seeking!

Types of Therapy Intensives I currently offer

  • This intensive is for you if you have been in therapy, showing up and doing the work, but feel like you’ve hit a roadblock. We will utilize our intensive time to identify the blocks and what they are showing up to communicate, as well as how to move forward beyond them. These intensives will utilize a blend of CBT, DBT, IFS, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, music therapy, therapeutic art, psychodrama, sand tray therapy, somatic-based therapy, and ecopsychology as it makes sense for you and your preferences.

  • This intensive is for you if you resonate with or have identified an inner child (or several) who would appreciate or benefit from targeted inner child work. We will utilize a framework to build the Adult Self and address inner child parts throughout the developmental stages. We will incorporate other modalities to support this work as it makes sense to do so.

  • This intensive is for you if you align with or are curious about the idea that you have a whole system of sub-personalities (parts) who all have jobs to do, but don’t always get along. These intensives may draw in other experiential modalities to support the IFS work, and begin with building a strong connection with Self. From there, we will identify your “main character” parts and anyone else, and begin to help them learn to trust Self and collaborate with each other, leading to a deeper internal sense of peace.

  • This intensive is for you if you are looking for a creative way to identify and clarify your goals for the next 6-12 months and explore what you need to get to that spot. We will utilize expressive arts techniques of writing/journaling, vision board creation, and psychodrama. You’ll leave with the finished product and a clear idea of how to get where you want to go and what happens in between.

  • This intensive is for you if you want to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your beliefs and how they shape how and who you are, as well as ways to get into closer alignment with your truest, favorite self. We will utilize a blend of modalities including CBT, DBT, IFS, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, music therapy, therapeutic art, psychodrama, sand tray therapy, somatic-based therapy, and ecopsychology. You’ll leave with a stronger connection to your inner wisdom.

  • This intensive is for you if you feel like you can’t slow down, and rest and “being” is out of reach. In this style of intensive, we utilize ecopsychology, somatic work, polyvagal theory, and other modalities to explore the struggle and help you find a slower pace to incorporate into your life. You’ll leave with a toolbox of skills to practice in the real world to create space for yourself in your day to day.

  • This intensive is for you if you are involved or moving towards being involved in a kink dynamic and want support in the negotiation process. This is for two or more parties who either are entering into a new kink dynamic, or shifting an already existing dynamic. You’ll all leave feeling heard and understood with a clear understanding of hard limits, soft limits, safety considerations, and desires as you move into this new (exciting) space.

  • This intensive is for you if you are looking to explore or deepen your interest in the world of kink. We will utilize a variety of modalities to explore your internal hopes, wishes, and desires in the world of kink. You’ll leave with a firm understanding of your current interests, soft limits, hard limits, and the ever-important “why” that allows you to move through the kink world as risk aware and consensual as you possibly can.
